Timewalking

Walking the old ways, exploring ancient tracks and byways and their relationship to the landscape and the history and geology of the area.

Works in the Time Walking and Night Walking series capture the resonance of journeys in both time and place. These walks encompass the physical, and imagined aspects of the past and present – an immersion that involves all the senses giving insight into the way we use and traverse our land, understanding the reasons for why things are where they are, and making sense of these routes. Works in this series link with Lost Ways and other mapping works.
